The festive season is officially in full effect, and what better way than to kick start the joyous season with a club banger of our own?

The newest drop had the gifted songbird, Yamiko, team up with the brilliantly minded production squad consisting of 3-Six, Prod.Nine, and LordKeyyZ, titling the newest track “Chosen”.

The vibrant single had Yamiko grace her angelic vocals over what we may call a Kaytranada-inspired instrumental, incorporating those elements of an upbeat tempo, loud claps, and soulful sounds that had us immediately jamming along with the tune.

Not only was the beat enchanting, Yamiko’s ability to tell a story never seems to miss, having the virtuoso narrate a tale of her desire to be with a potential lover, patiently waiting for her hopeful lover to finally approach her while she looms in the shadows. And the chorus was out of this world. We had no option but to adore this tune and her stunning performance.

But the production for this track is what stole the show, having the team perfectly replicate the well-appreciated Montreal House genre, gifting us a bouncy House track with a sprinkle of Jazzy elements and soft guitar riffs in the background.
